The practical terms for quotes, online orders, delivery, installation, cancellation, returns, and product support.
Effective date:
These terms apply when you request a quote or buy equipment from Gym Equipment Trader. The business is currently published as a trading name of RC Support Services Ltd, company number 14680877, with registered office at 4 Llandafen Farm, Llanelli, Wales, SA14 9BX.
References to “GET”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean that business. “You” means the customer. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Product descriptions, photographs, specifications, condition notes, and measurements are provided to help you choose. Used and refurbished equipment may show cosmetic wear consistent with its listing. Please ask before ordering if a dimension, access requirement, finish, or feature is essential.
Products remain subject to availability. If stock, a specification, or a price changes before acceptance, we will contact you. We will not replace an ordered product with a materially different item without your agreement.
The price, taxes, delivery charges, and payment schedule will be shown at checkout or in your quote. You must pay using an offered payment method. Online payment and fraud checks may be handled by Shopify and approved payment providers.
If an obvious pricing error is discovered before acceptance, we may cancel the affected order and refund any payment, or ask whether you wish to continue at the correct price.
Installation is included only where it appears in the order confirmation or quote. You must provide a safe, clear, suitable site and any information we reasonably request. Unless installation is agreed, you are responsible for assembly, positioning, and commissioning after kerbside delivery.
If you are a consumer buying at a distance, you will normally have 14 days from receiving the goods to tell us that you wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return them. Exceptions can apply, including to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised.
Contact us before returning anything so we can confirm the correct address, packaging, pallet, collection, and insurance requirements. Unless the goods are faulty or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of return. Large equipment must be safely packaged and made available in the manner agreed.
We will refund eligible payments, including the standard outbound delivery cost where required, within the legally required period. We may reduce a refund for loss in value caused by handling beyond what would reasonably be allowed in a shop. Business purchases do not have an automatic change-of-mind cancellation right unless the quote or order confirmation says otherwise.
Inspect the equipment as soon as reasonably possible and tell us promptly about transit damage, missing items, or faults. Include the order number, photographs, and a clear description where possible so we can assess the issue.
Product-specific warranty terms will be shown in the listing, quote, order confirmation, or manufacturer documents. A warranty does not replace your legal rights. It may exclude damage caused by misuse, unauthorised alteration, unsuitable installation, abnormal operating conditions, or a failure to follow reasonable maintenance instructions.
We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your non-excludable consumer rights. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
Business customers should ensure equipment, access, installation, and intended use are suitable for their premises and users. Any business-specific limitation agreed in a quote or order confirmation will apply alongside these terms.
Contact sales@gymequipmenttrader.co.uk or call 01554 575 000. Please include your order or quote number where relevant.
We will try to resolve complaints directly. These terms are governed by the applicable law of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory right a consumer has to bring proceedings in another applicable UK court.
